Product description The Fantasea Line BigEye Lens M67 Mark II is a patented wide-angle lens with a 67mm thread, which fits over the underwater housing's port and can be installed and removed during the course of the dive. Suitable for shooting seascape, divers, ship wrecks, and schools of fish without moving further away from the subject, this wide-angle lens takes full advantage of the water clarity and artificial light sources. The BigEye Lens M67 Mark II features a multi-layered anti-reflection coating on both sides, which significantly reduces lens flares. It can be mounted on 67mm threaded lens ports directly or on other lens ports by using an adapter. The Fantasea BigEye lens makes use of a patented lens technology, which allows for high-quality wide-angle underwater images that are free of distortions. The lens technology uses air instead of glass as an optical element and enables recovering most of the camera lens' optical properties underwater. The air pocket inside the lens enhances the angle of light refraction, thereby restoring the original angle of coverage of the camera lens. Note: Since this patented technology was specially designed for underwater photography, the lens should only be used when the system is submerged in water. Depending on the type of housing, an additional adapter (sold separately) may be required to use this item with your existing housing.
