Product description Capture beautiful images of the undersea world as deep as 200' with this Underwater Housing Kit from Fantasea Line. Designed for use with Sony A6300 and A6500 mirrorless cameras, it is compatible with select lenses and provides access to all the controls that are critical for underwater photography. Included are Fantasea Line's FA6500 Underwater Housing and the FML Flat Port 34. - FA6500 Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha a6500 and a6300 You can capture brilliant photos and 4K video of pygmy seahorses, sharks, and coral reefs at depths of 200', thanks to Fantasea Line's FA6500 Underwater Housing for the Sony Alpha a6500 and a6300 Mirrorless Digital Cameras. It features a moisture detector and alarm that will alert you in the unlikely event of a breach in the waterproof seal, so you can dive with peace of mind.
Dual fiber-optic ports enable the attachment of optional external strobes via the proper cables. One of these flash units could be placed on the cold shoe mount that sits atop the housing. The FA6500 provides access to all essential camera functions via mechanical push-button, knob/dial, and lever controls. Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion, it is constructed from injection-molded polycarbonate.
The FA6500 ships without a required lens port, and accepts various interchangeable, FML-series ports to accommodate an array of lenses. For a complete list of compatible models, see the port chart. The port is compatible with Fantasea housings with FML mounts, including the FA6500 model for the Sony Alpha a6500 and a6300 mirrorless cameras.
The glass front element is flat so as not to correct for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer. Therefore, the port provides ample magnification for detailed close-up images. Additionally, the glass features an anti-reflection coating to help prevent lens flare when shooting in bright light. The 67mm front threads allow for the attachment of optional, external color-correction filters or accessory wide-angle or macro lenses.
Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion by seawater, the port body is crafted from polycarbonate. As a bonus, a microfiber cloth is supplied for keeping the glass clean, clear, and scratch-free. - Compatible Lenses
