Product description A Guide to Purchasing an ID Card Printer Read More The DTC1000Me Single-Sided Monochrome ID Card Printer from Fargo is available with the additional Ethernet with internal print server option for improved networking capabilities. It is a simple monochrome, single-side direct-to-card printer with edge-to-edge printing using dye sublimation or resin thermal transfer technology that results in 300 dpi resolution for optimal quality. This printer can hold up to 100 cards in the input tray for batch jobs along with 30 cards for output. Also, the front panel has color changing status buttons for knowing current status and making adjustments. The printer features a standard USB 2.0 port for connecting to a computer. It is a low-to-moderate-volume card issuance solution for organizations such as casinos, financial services firms, small businesses, and retailers. An eco-friendly erase-and-rewrite option also makes the printer suitable for visitor badges and temporary worker ID applications. The DTC1000Me prints a single color, edge-to-edge image on one side of a standard CR-80 or CR-79 identification card. The resin thermal transfer process assures clear reproduction of photo images, bar codes, and alphanumeric data. It connects quickly via USB or Ethernet and begins creating ID badges within seconds. With the built-in Swift ID application, you can start printing without having to install any additional software. You can receive instant system status cues through color-coded buttons during your printing operation. For magnetic stripe cards, an optional module enables inline, one-step encoding, and card printing. - General
