Product description A Guide to Purchasing an ID Card Printer Read More Designed for small-to-medium businesses, the DTC1250e Single-Sided ID Card USB Printer from Fargo provides maximum efficiency in a sleek, user-friendly design. This printer utilizes a dye sublimation resin thermal transfer processes to quickly create 300 dpi resolution prints. It works well with CR-80 and CR-79 adhesive back card sizes and can print edge-to-edge. It also supports HID Prox, iCLASS, MIFARE/DESFire, and contact smart card (Omnikey Cardman 5121 and 5125) encoding. The printer comes with an internal print server for secure printing. The printer is capable of printing at a rate of 6 seconds per card in black and white and at 24 seconds per card in full color with two black resin panels. It can hold up to 100 cards (30 mil thick) in the input hopper and 30 cards (30 mil thick) in the output hopper. The printer also has an Ethernet and USB 2.0 interface for connecting to a computer. - Works with both Easy (EZ) all-in-one print and eco-friendly (ECO) refill ribbons
