Product description Use the Farpoint Counterweight Set to add evenly distributed counterweight to your 12" Meade LightBridge Dobsonian telescope. The three 1-pound counterweights are attached by removing the locking screws on the mirror cell and replacing them with the three included stainless steel bolts. Out of the box, the telescope is balanced to accommodate a small eyepiece and red dot finder. Once heavier eyepieces and finders are added, the telescope becomes very front heavy so these rear counterweights properly balance the telescope for using large 2" eyepieces.
