Product description Monitor and analyze incoming video signals with the FW789 7" IPS On-Camera Monitor from FeelWorld. The extensive built-in monitoring tools available on this monitor include waveform, vectorscope, histogram, and area magnification functions ensuring that the image from your camera is recorded as intended. The functions available on this monitor can be quickly accessed using the function keys on the front of the monitor. Dual SDI inputs alongside an HDMI input can be used with most modern digital cameras while analog component and composite inputs are compatible with legacy equipment. The LED-backlit IPS LCD panel featured on this monitor offers 1280x800 resolution and a brightness rating of 400cd/m². Should the screen become washed-out in bright lighting conditions, use the included folding sun hood to block the glare. To mount the monitor to your rig or stand use one of the four 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the outer edge of the chassis. The included mounting bracket secures using the two 1/4"-20 threads on the sides of the monitor. The bracket can be attached to a stand or tabletop and offers tilt adjustments. For direct camera-mounting, the included ball mount can secure to a standard camera accessory shoe. - Peaking Focus Assist
- Add colored highlights to high-contrast edges in the image to easily determine correct focus. The highlight can be set to white, red, green, or blue for easy visibility in nearly any scenario.
- Exposure Tools
- Waveform: Shows image brightness levels as distributed across the horizontal axis of the frame. Standard, RGB parade, and YUV waveforms are available.
Histogram: The built-in histogram displays the distribution of brightness levels across your image. This offers a quick way to check overall image exposure. False Color: Use false color to accurately gauge exposure levels for every part of your image. See exactly where highlights are getting blown out, where shadows lose detail, and when skin tones are exposed properly. Zebras: This non-intrusive assist tool overlays black lines where the image is approaching overexposure. - Vectorscope
- Ensure that your colors are correct and compensate for color casts with the built-in vectorscope.
- Audio Level Meters
- Embedded audio can be displayed on the screen for quick reference and adjust your levels to eliminate clipping.
- Check Field
- Useful for adjusting hue and saturation, each color channel, red, blue, or green, can be displayed separately. Monochrome is also available for setting contrast and exposure.
- Pixel-to-Pixel Mapping
- Turn the input scaling off to see the individual pixels on the screen. This can be useful for critical image analysis and achieving critical focus.
- DSLR Scaling
- Some DLSR cameras crop their output while recording, this mode compensates for that crop for easier fullscreen monitoring.
- Zoom In
- Check critical focus by expanding the image by 4, 9, or 16 times.
- Squared Segmentation
- Analyze different parts of your image by selecting a moveable area to magnify on a 3x3 grid.
- Markers
- Center screen, title safe, and aspect ratio markers ensure that your compositions fit nearly any kind of production.
- Image Flip
- Horizontal and vertical image flip selections ensure that your image is correctly oriented while the camera is mounted upside-down or certain lens adapters are used.
- Image Freeze
- Freeze the image currently being displayed in order to match from take to take or for composition analysis without requiring actors to remain in position.
- LED Tally Indicator
- Use the included tally adapter kit to connect a broadcast switcher to the monitor. When the tally is activated the LED on the monitor can be lit up either red, green, or yellow.
