Product description The black & dark silver Fellowes Powershred 225i Jam-Proof Strip-Cut Shredder enables safe and efficient disposal of junk mail and other office paperwork. Up to 20 sheets can be inserted at a time into the 9.5"-wide paper entry at the top of the Powershred to reduce them into 0.22" strips. The Powershred 225i is tough enough to cut through staples, credit cards, paper clips, CDs, and DVDs, and is equipped with a continuous-duty motor capable of non-stop shredding. A 16-gallon removable bin allows for mess-free waste disposal. - Security Level P-2
- Rated at security level P-2, the Powershred 225i is suitable for shredding documents with low confidentiality needs. An A4 sheet will be shred into approximately 36 strips.
- Jam Proof System
- The Powershred 225i delivers three levels of advanced jam prevention. Level one prevents overfeeding by measuring paper thickness via a sensor in the paper entry. Level two powers through jobs made tough by wrinkles or folds that may occur as paper is shredding, and auto reverses cleanly. Level three maximizes productivity by providing instant feedback via light bar as to whether or not you are within the recommended sheet capacity.
- Advanced Safety
- The 225i features an advanced electronic safety sensor that surrounds the paper entry and automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening.
- Energy Efficiency
- Energy Savings System maximizes energy savings both when it is being used and when it is not being used. When in use, the Powershred saves energy by performance and power supply efficiency. When not in use, standby and sleep modes come into play.
