Product description The black & dark silver Powershred 225Mi Jam-Proof Micro-Cut Shredder from Fellowes enables secure shredding of highly-confidential documents. Load up to 14 sheets at a time into the paper entry at the top of the Powershred to shred them into unreadable 0.08 x 0.47" micro-cut particles. The Powershred 225Mi is tough enough to cut through plastic credit cards, paper clips, staples, CDs, and DVDs. It is equipped with a continuous-duty motor capable of non-stop shredding and features a 16-gallon pull-out bin which holds over 80% more shredded particles per gallon than the bin of a standard cross-cut shredder. - Security Level P-5
- The Powershred 225Mi meets federal document destruction guidelines at security level P-5. An A4 sheet will be shred into approximately 3,770 particles.
- Jam Proof System
- The Powershred 425i delivers three levels of advanced jam prevention. Level One prevents overfeeding by measuring paper thickness via a sensor in the paper entry. Level Two powers through jobs made tough by wrinkles or folds that may occur as paper is shredding and auto reverses cleanly. Level Three maximizes productivity by providing instant feedback via light bar as to whether or not you are within the recommended sheet capacity.
- SafeSense Technology
- An advanced electronic safety sensor surrounds the paper entry and automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening.
- Energy Savings System
- Energy Savings System maximizes energy savings both when the shredder is being used and when it is not being used. When in use, the Powershred saves energy by performance and power supply efficiency. When not in use, standby and sleep modes come into play.
