Product description Versatility is the hallmark of the compact CL23 Camping Lantern from Fenix. You can set the light on a table or mount it on a tripod for 360° of area lighting. You can hang it in your tent and enjoy two brightness levels of down-pointing light. You can set it beside you for reading, with light shining only from its front. To preserve your night-acclimated vision, switch it to red light. To signal your position in an emergency, choose blinking red. And while three batteries are required (and included) to run the light at all levels, you can use the light with two or even just one in a pinch. All settings and on/off are controlled with a single push-button switch at the base of the front of the light. The 360° setting shines at 40, 150 or 300 lumens of white light. The front light delivers 25 lumens, and the downward setting has 2- and 25-lumen options. Double-click the switch to change from white to red light. The CL23 is IP66-rated dust and splashproof, and at just 3.4 x 2.2" and 4.9 ounces, it will barely add any weight or bulk to your gear. - Light Performance
