Product description Designed to keep curious youngsters away from a potentially hazardous battery, the purple HL16 Children's LED Headlamp from Fenix provides hands-free lighting for children and peace of mind for their parents. This lightweight, 70-lumen headlamp requires use of an included Allen key to access the battery compartment and meets the standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and European Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals regulations.Operated by a simple push button, the HL16 provides three white-light brightness levels, plus steady-on and flashing red light. It runs on one readily available AA battery (included). The elastic headband has reflective markings for further safety and channels perspiration away from the user's face. Runtimes range from three hours on high power to 60 hours on low, and the light weighs under 2 ounces. It may be designed for kids, but adults may also find the HL16 suitable for jogging, dog walking, cycling, hiking and general hands-free light use. - Performance
