Product description From plumbing to spelunking, walking the dog or setting up your campsite, the Fenix HL55 LED Headlight gives you as much light as you need while leaving both hands free to handle the task at hand. One Cree XM-L2 T6 neutral white LED produces four outputs from a low 10 lumens to a high of 420 lumens without changing the appearance of colors and maximizing beam throw in humid conditions. The head rotates 160° for precise beam placement above your head, at your feet, and anywhere in between. If you need to throw the beam further or just need maximum illumination, there is an instantly-accessible 900 lumen Burst mode available, even if the light is off. A single pushbutton on the right side of the housing controls the output intensity with a simple press so it's easy to use in all weather and conditions, with or without gloves.Designed for durability, the housing features a scratch and corrosion-resistant Type III hard-anodized finish and the adjustable headband not only wraps around the head, it also features a crown band for maximum comfort. The housing is impact-resistant to 3.3' and O-ring sealed to give it an IPX8-rating, making it submersible to 6.6' for up to 30 minutes. The light runs on one 18650 or two CR123A batteries, and has reverse-polarity protection circuitry to prevent damage if the batteries are installed incorrectly. - Performance
