Product description This version of Fenix's PD35, thePD35-TAC LED Flashlight, features two selectable operation modes for general purpose and tactical uses. In the Outdoor mode, the tailcap switch controls basic on/off with the five output intensities and strobe being selectable via the side body switch. When the light is set to Tactical mode, the switching and available outputs change for easier use. This easier switching and tactical-minded outputs makes operating the light and choosing outputs more intuitive which is critical in high-stress situations. In Tactical mode, switching and output selection is done using the tailcap pushbutton, with access to just the turbo, strobe, and low outputs for simplicity.Utilizing a Cree XP-L (V5) LED, this versatile light produces an output range from a low task-orientated 8-lumens up to a powerful 1000 lumen turbo mode that is ideal for searching or lighting large areas and rooms. Its 1000 lumen strobe mode can be used to disorientate or signal in emergency situations. The light runs on a single user-supplied 18650 or two CR123 batteries, and features active and passive over-heat protection, digitally regulated output, and reverse-polarity protection.Complementing the light's performance is a lightweight and durable aluminum allow body with a protective corrosion and scratch-resistant type III hard anodized finish. The light is impact-resistant tested to 3.3' drops, and IPX8-rated to be submersible to a depth of up to 6.6'. A textured body profile provides a sure grip in cold and wet conditions, and anti-roll areas are machined into the bezel and tailcap. The belt clip is removable for carrying the light in a holster or pocket without getting caught or snagged. - Light Performance
