Product description The Ferrofish Pulse16 MX is a 1 RU rackmount 16-channel AD/DA converter offering analog, MADI, and ADAT I/O for tracking and mixing engineers in recording studios, houses of worship, broadcast trucks, and concert venues. With 24-bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic converters, a TCXO internal clock, and an active jitter-elimination circuit, it delivers accurate high-resolution audio. Interface a variety of equipment via the 16 balanced 1/4" TRS inputs/outputs, four ADAT optical inputs/outputs, and optical MADI I/O. The front-panel 1/4" headphone output features digitally controlled volume and an assignable mono or stereo source.BNC jacks provide wordclock I/O for proper synchronization with other digital equipment such as master clock generators, additional converters, and digital consoles. Remote control of the Pulse16 MX is possible through the MIDI 5-pin ports, which also support MIDI-over-MADI embedding and extracting. Display and modification of device settings, meters, and routing are achieved via the dual color TFT screens and three front-panel controls. The Pulse16 MX includes an external power supply and a MADI cable. - High-resolution Cirrus Logic A/D-D/A converters operate at up to 24-bits / 192 kHz
