Product description Intended for use with the X7 Portable High-Resolution Audio Player, the FiiO AM3 is a headphone amplifier which gives you both a standard 3.5mm headphone output and a 2.5mm TRRS headphone output for balanced connections. Depending on your power settings—and the headphones you use—the AM3 adds between 15 and 600 mW of output power, as well an increased peak output voltage. It also helps improve the frequency response; with the AM1, you get 10 Hz to 76 kHz, but with the AM3, you get 5 Hz to 83 kHz. You can swap out the AM1 on your X7 for this module at any time.
