Product description Some in-ear headsets with integrated microphones and remote controls are built specifically for use with Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The Fiio LU1 Smart Adapter Cable allows you to take a headset that's made for Apple devices and use it with smartphones from manufacturers such as Nokia, HTC, Motorola, Samsung, and LG.
The adapter is easy to use; simply plug your headset into the adapter's 3.5mm jack, and then connect the adapter's 3.5mm plug to your device. The connectors have gold plating for excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. The PVC jacket provides terrific flexibility and there is molded strain relief around the connectors for extra durability. The adapter has OFC copper wiring to maintain a clear signal path with no loss of audio quality. Note: Due to the wide variety of devices on the market, this item may not be compatible with every make and model of smartphone to support mic/remote functions. - Allows you to use a headset that's designed for Apple devices with a smartphone from Nokia, HTC, Motorola, Samsung, or LG
