Product description Women of Influence: Katrin Eismann Read More A tool designed for processing large groups of imagery, pcPhotos from FileStream is a non-destructive application to aid working with and organizing numerous photos using an intuitive album system. Compatible with a wide range of raw file formats, as well as JPGs, image files of nearly any kind can be sorted and placed into groups for creating presentations or simply applying the same edits to. Batch processing allows you to resize photos for a variety of sharing applications, and text, watermarks, and time stamps can also be added en masse to help save time and maintain consistency. The non-destructive design does not affect original image files, allowing you to work more freely and apply creative edits more freely. Further aiding a consistent and efficient workflow, album presets can be saved for subsequent use to help maintain a seamless system for handling groups of photos. From Camera to Album - Open Photos from Nearly Any Camera
- Compatible with a wide range of raw file formats, as well as standard JPG files, this software can be used to open and organize photos from cameras, scanners, or existing digital files. Upon import, thumbnails will be generated for each image to aid in organizing and recognizing imagery for creating or updating an album.
- Organize within Albums
- Files can be organized within unique albums, each of which has its own size and style, for creating collections of certain photographs. The files within each album are copied and stored on a drive, without affecting the location of the original file.
- Resize for Specific Applications
- Once an album has been created, the images within it can be resized in order to suit making a slideshow for viewing on different devices, such as a tablet or online. The resizing process works to maintain the same image quality as the original image, but with a smaller file size for faster loading.
Fix, Enhance, and Annotate - Apply Creative Effects and Retouching
- Thanks to the non-destructive editing environment, creative effects can be applied to imagery without affecting the original files. You can quickly convert an image to black & white or add a sepia tone, and then revert to the original with a single click if the edits are not desirable.
Darkroom fix tools can also be used to enhance the look of imagery, including the ability to remove red-eye with one click or adjust brightness and contrast levels, use fill-flash sliders to affect exposure. Automated tools also help to easily perform common image edits, including an auto sharpen tool to increase detail and an auto smooth tool for removing blemishes. - Add Watermarks, Time Stamps, and Captions
- A variety of text types can be added to images, either for captioning, watermarking, or time-stamping purposes. Different fonts, text sizes, and colors can be used and text can be applied to all of the imagery within an album at once. For captioning, you can simply drag to select the area in the image where text should appear, even without fully opening the image file.
- Batch Process, Sequence, and Save Presets
- Different photo layouts can be created and applied to albums so each file in the presentation has the same appearance. You can leave empty space surrounding the image for writing comments or apply more creative frames or borders. A drag-and-drop interface offers simple control over sequencing your imagery for exporting as a customized presentation. Additionally, to expedite your workflow, you can save your editing and processing settings for use later with the same or other albums.
Share Your Photos - Format for Multiple Devices or Online Sharing
- Photos can be resized and sequenced specifically for playback on iPads, iPhones, and iPods, and then synced using iTunes for optimized playback on your chosen device. Photos can also be resized, framed, and retouched for sharing via email or uploading to social media sites.
