- When passwords (file encryption) are applied, they are not assigned to the ZIP archive itself, but to individual files within it. Therefore, individual files can be encrypted or not, and individual files can have different access passwords. The encryption options provided in TurboZIP include the standard PKWare 2.04g Encryption, and 128-bit and 256-bit Industry-Compatible Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Strong Encryption.

- You can browse photos or other images before you unzip with the new thumbnail view of TurobZIP. Thumbnails are displayed on the fly without using any disk space. Many performance options have been added to increase the speed of zipping and unzipping.
