Product description Conquer the night using the MNVD-51 1x Gen 3G Multi-Purpose Monocular from ARMASIGHT by FLIR. This handheld device offers a wider (51°) field of view than its peers and can be mounted on your firearm or optional headgear. At the core of this night vision device is a 3rd-generation image intensifier tube (IIT) that converts the infrared images into visible ones. Its white phosphor (ghost) screen produces black-and-white images, which are preferred by some operators. The IIT is also enhanced with a bright light cutoff function for preserving the tube from accidental burnout by bright flashes and a manual gain for controlling image brightness and contrast. To improve close-range visibility and allow reading maps in total darkness, the device has a built-in illuminator. The composite body, designed to withstand impact and extreme temperatures, allows you to venture almost anywhere. It offers heavily knurled rings and adjusters for a non-slip grip and a wide winged rubber eyecup for comfortable contact with your face and to prevent leakage of light. Note: Export of this device described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State office of Defense Trade Controls, as prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulation, Parts 120-130, and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
