Product description Enhanced with an extra-wide 51° angle of view, this PVS-14-51 HD 2nd-Generation Night Vision Monocular Head Mount Kit from ARMASIGHT by FLIR is specifically engineered for armed forces and law enforcement personnel. It comes with everything you need to use the monocular hands-free or mounted on your head or helmet, including an adjustable head mount and an adapter. At the core of the night vision monocular is a 2nd-generation high-definition image intensifier tube (IIT) that converts infrared images into visible ones. The IIT is enhanced with a bright-light cutoff function for protecting the tube from accidental burnout by bright flashes and a manual gain for controlling image brightness and contrast. To improve close-range visibility and allow reading maps in total darkness, the device has a built-in illuminator. The composite body allows you to venture almost anywhere and can withstand impact, extreme temperatures, and even water submersions. It offers heavily knurled rings and adjusters for a non-slip grip and a wide winged rubber eyecup to ensure comfortable contact with your face and to prevent light leakage. Using the included accessories, the monocular can be worn on the head mount assembly, whose adjustable harness should securely fit helmets of different sizes.
