Product description Foba's precision Mini Superball Plus Ballhead with Quick Release Clamp is one of the strongest fixation devices on the market today. The large locking levers make for easy handling, locking firmly with just a twist. User-adjustable tension control allows fine-tuning the performance of the ball to suit the shooting situation, as well as to compensate for wear over the life of the ball. A Teflon collar provides smooth rotation and vibration dampening properties. The Mini Superball Plus is equipped with a separate calibrated panning base, which can be locked and unlocked independently of the ball itself. This model requires the additional purchase of an Arca-type quick release plate, made by a host of manufacturers including Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, NPC, Novoflex and Wimberley. There are camera-specific plates from these manufacturers as well, allowing for custom fit applications which trace each contour of the camera for total elimination of movement between camera/lens collar and plate.
