As a basic reference guide, it can be used to look up the answers to simple questions or to understand the basic techniques required to become a DP (Director of Photography).About the Author: Paul Wheeler was trained at the BBC and eventually became a Senior Drama Film Cameraman. A renowned cinematographer/director of photography, he was previously Head of Cinematography at the National Film & Television School where he still runs courses on Digital Cinematography. He was also previously Head of Cinematography for the Royal College of Arts MA course.
