Product description The red Twin6 Be Dual 6.5" Professional Analog Monitoring Speaker from Focal is suitable for recording, mixing, and mastering. The cabinet houses a pair of 6.5" W-cone composite sandwich mid-woofers, one of which works in mid-bass frequencies, whereas the other reproduces from 40 to 150 Hz. This creates a bass that preserves all the signal dynamics, without any masking effect in the midrange, thereby keeping all its neutrality and transparency. A beryllium inverted dome tweeter provides crisp, clear treble. Each driver is powered by its own amplifier for a total of 400W of power.Furthermore, the design of the Twin6 Be speaker permits a high SPL of 115 dB, while at the same time offering a stable tonal balance. Additional control of the bass register is accomplished by fine-tuning on the control plate on the back of the unit in order to obtain a perfect mirror configuration with its mate. The Twin6 Be speaker can be installed vertically or horizontally based on the space requirements of each studio. - Beryllium Inverted Dome Tweeter
- Twin6 Be features a pure Beryllium dome, which is capable of covering five full octaves from 1000 to 40,000 Hz. This tweeter can quickly reproduce high frequencies with transparency.
- Two "W" Composite Sandwich Cone Drivers
- The W-cone pattern (glass/foam/glass) provides a true optimization of the frequency response by fine tuning of mass, rigidity, and damping parameters.
- BASH Technology-Based Bass / Medium Amplification Circuit
- This speaker uses an AB circuit to sufficiently power the high frequency tweeter, allowing for wide bandwidth and accuracy.
