Product description The Formatt 105mm Hot Mirror Filter is especially useful in digital photography. Digital sensors are extremely sensitive to infrared light - particularly in the higher end models. When using neutral density filters, this effect is enhanced even more causing potentially serious exposure problems. The Hot Mirror coating is sandwiched internally to eliminate any possibility of damage to the coated surface. - Minimizes infrared distortion which causes exposure problems
- Does not affect traditional red wavelengths
