Product description The cyan 150 x 170mm Soft Edge Cooling Color Graduated Neutral Density Filter from Hitech offers the photographer a wide pallet of options for using color to enhance an image. The filter can be used subtly to add a vintage look to your image or add a little more blue to the sky. It can also be used to dramatically create memorable images that would have been otherwise impossible. This filter provides on-camera visual effects to enhance the drama and impact of photos.This soft edge color filter is light blue colored (between blue and green in the color spectrum) and is typically used to give a splash of color to the sky.The Soft Edge Cooling Color Graduated Filter has a clear bottom half with a gradual transition to the color effect in the top half. Primarily used for skylines of landscape shots, the filter offers a smooth transition from clear to ND (neutral density, cyan 3). Additionally, the filter can be used in combination with solid color or neutral density filters to give interesting bespoke effects. Made from high-quality 1.5mm optical resin, this 6” (150mm) filter is usable with Lee 6” (150mm) holder systems (sold separately) or any similar 6” (150mm) holder. The filter’s 6” (150mm) width and 6.69” (170mm) length enable it to be easily moved up and down in the holder. - Fits Lee 6" (150mm) holder systems (sold separately) or any similar 6" (150mm) holder, so a single filter is usable on multiple lenses
- Creates dramatic visual statements by adding a splash of color to your image
- Resin filters are made of a proprietary formulation of CR-39 resin, are the hardest, most scratch-resistant, non-glass optical material with an index of refraction nearly identical to the finest optical glass
- High scratch resistance, low material fatigue, and chamfered corners to resist breakage to offer years of service
- Made in the UK using advanced, computer-controlled filter manufacturing technologies
