Product description The 4 x 4" Soft Net Black 2 Filter from Hitech is an excellent choice for softening your image when you need to reduce contrast that helps to minimize facial imperfections. It's especially effective during portrait and interview sessions when you wish to give your subject a gentler more soft appearance. It is made with a fine grid. It is also recognized as having a stronger effect than Hitech's Movie Mist Filters. The Grade 2 Soft Net Black Filter softens fine details more than the Grade 1 version, lowers contrast further and adds even more diffusion to the image. The Hitech filter system is made by Formatt - an English company that is renowned for its high manufacturing standards and consistency of quality. Their CR39 resin is manufactured in large sheets that are oven cured. Their exclusive Absorbing Cell Technology absorbs color as opposed to other filters that are coated. Once cured, they are sliced up to create individual filters. In this way, maximum consistency is maintained from filter to filter. This becomes crucial when you wish to change filters either mid shoot or from day-to-day. - Minimizes contrast while softening fine details such as facial blemishes
