Product description The Formatt 40.5mm Soft Gold 2 Enhancing Schott-Desag B270 Crown Optical Glass Filter is another incredible innovation from Formatt. This filter has been specifically designed for today's High Definition cameras which tend to be ultrasharp and somewhat unforgiving when it comes to skin tones.The beauty of this filter is that it will still allow you to obtain lovely, softened images but without a noticeable loss of contrast. It will also correct for the bluish tint associated with some HD photography. As applied to portraiture, it will correct for unsightly skin blemishes and provide smoother, more flattering images of your subject. Formatt, a company with three generations of professional filter-making experience, produces every filter to the highest technical standards.
