Product description Add an eye-catching effect to the light sources in your image with the emerald 5.65 x 5.65" Fireburst Cine Anamorphic Streak Filter from Formatt Hitech. This filter is made of glass with monofilament fibers that diffract light as it passes through them. Due to this diffraction, it causes point light sources such as streetlamps or candles to exhibit two parallel lines that flare out from the center, imitating the effect commonly seen with anamorphic lenses. Additionally, the filter is designed to add an emerald tint to the streaks while still allowing ambient light to shine through for a mixed effect. The closer the monofilament fibers are bunched together, the brighter and longer the created lines are; this specific model has them spaced 2mm from one another for a relatively strong effect. You can also intensify the look of the streaks by bringing the point of light closer to the camera, zooming in, or using brighter sources. The filter comes in a plastic clamshell case that can be used for storage. -
