Product description This Formatt Hitech 77mm Filter Holder Adapter Ring allows the filter holder included with a 100mm Firecrest Filter Holder Kit to be used on a lens with 77mm front filter threads. It provides an alternative to combining the filter holder with the 82mm adapter ring that is also included with that kit along with an additional 77-82mm step-up ring. When the filter holder is used on a wide-angle lens with 77mm front filter threads, this adapter ring can help prevent vignetting. It features an aluminum-alloy construction for durability while remaining lightweight.
This adapter ring also accommodates the Formatt Hitech 82mm Firecrest UltraSlim Circular Polarizer Filter that is included with a 100mm Firecrest Filter Holder Kit. When combined with this adapter ring and installed on a lens with 77mm front filter threads, that polarizer filter can be rotated to adjust its effect. The combination of the circular polarizer and this adapter ring, can also be used with the filter holder with or without its included cover installed. In such instances, an external dial on the filter holder allows for the independent rotation of the circular polarizer.
An adapter ring to place the filter holder and the circular polarizer included with a 100mm Firecrest Filter Holder Kit on a lens with 72mm front filter threads is also available. UPC: 886235206024 Table of Contents
