Product description The 85 x 85mm Warm Clear Movie Mist 2Filter from Hitech is a soft focus filter that also adds a touch of warmth to the image. Primarily targeted to the MPTV markets, it also has viable uses for traditional film and digital applications. This filter is characterized by a reduction in overall contrast as well as a smooth, flattering softening effect. It also accents highlights but will not blow them out. Facial imperfections will also be minimized. The Warm Clear Movie Mist 2 filter is the third strongest grade available for this filter. Contrast continues to be reduced even more than the grade 2 while your highlights become more and more prominent. A warming trend continues to build within the image.The Warm Clear Movie Mist Filter is a variation on Hitech's standard Clear Movie Mist Filter but with the addition of a warming element that is useful when the sky is overcast or you're shooting in open shade. It is especially valuable as a portrait filter or when shooting an interview for TV and you wish to enhance your subject's appearance. - The Hitech filter system is made by Formatt - an English company that is renowned for its high manufacturing standards and consistency of quality. Their CR39 resin is manufactured in large sheets that are oven cured. Their exclusive Absorbing Cell Technology absorbs color as opposed to other filters that are coated. Once cured, they are sliced up to create individual filters. In this way, maximum consistency is maintained from filter to filter. This becomes crucial when you wish to change filters either mid shoot or from day to day
