Product description The Formatt Soft Tone Cooling Filter is another in Formatt's excellent line of diffusion and refraction filters. This is a useful filter when you need to hide any small imperfections in your subject's skin. In addition, this filter can be used as a low contrast filter since it permits more detail in the shadow areas.HD technology is known for being ultra sharp which leads to revealing every imperfection in a subject's face. In order to compensate for this effect and take some of the edge off these sharp cameras and lenses, Formatt has designed filters to minimize the effect. An additional benefit is the opening of shadow areas for more detail in the shot.
