Product description Designed as a multi-functional solution for holding your filters, this Lucroit 100mm Filter Holder Kit from Formatt Hitech is tailored for the Sigma 28mm f/1.8 EX DG lens. It consists of the holder itself, two removable filter slots, an adapter ring specific to your lens, a set of barndoors, and a french flag. When completely put together, the kit supports up to two 100mm filters as thick as 2mm while allowing you to shield the lens from unwanted light and help prevent flares from showing up in your images. For installation, first connect the adapter ring to the holder and then mount it onto your lens. The ring has a customized fit for the lens, and as a bonus it offers threads for holding an optional circular polarizer. The filter slots simply snap into place, while the barndoors go on hinges on each side of the holder. Finally, you can attach the french flag to the top barndoor for a larger cover that helps block the light from overhead fixtures. -
