Product description How to Use ND Filters: Tips, Tricks, and Special Effects Read More The Formatt Hitech Series 9 Combination 85B/ND 0.6 Glass Filter is a combination of both an amber color conversion 85B and a 0.6 neutral density filter. There is a 0.6 density for darkening of the entire image in order to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. The 85B filtration covers the entire filter plane and converts the color temperature to 3200K for use with type B (tungsten) films.
This filter is compatible with the Series 9 filter adapter for use on a wide variety of lenses. The 0.6 density provides a 2-stop reduction in light from entering the lens. - Combination of both an amber color conversion 85B and a neutral density filter.
- 0.6 ND filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required.
- 85B filter converts the color temperature to 3200K, allowing you to use type B tungsten-balanced film in daylight situations.
- Compatible with the Series 9 filter adapter.
- Formatt filters combine high-quality Schott glass with specially formulated CR-39 resin in order to absorb synthetic dyes while still garnering the benefits of optical glass.
