Product description The Formatt 3 x 3" HD Supersoft Gold Enhancing 1 Filter is designed and made to the traditional high Formatt standards and is suitable for High Definition work in addition to classic film and video. Supersoft Gold Enhancers are a marriage of HD Soft and Soft Gold Enhancers. This filter produces stronger softening effects with the same warm tone. Formatt, a company with three generations of professional filter-making experience produces every filter to the highest technical standards. The finest materials, together with state of-the-art production technology have resulted in a standard of optical excellence unmatched anywhere else. Note: These filters have an internal structure, and therefore use of short focal length and wide angle lenses is not recommended. The minimum suggested focal length is 28mm; Super Soft Gold enhancing filters are available in grades 1-3 with 3 having the greatest effect - Since the primary objective of these spheres is to soften without loss of contrast, the addition of this filter to the Supersoft Gold Enhancer produces a further softening effect
- Not only is light refracted by the back reflection of the gold platelets but also defocused in tiny arrays by the HD soft miniature hemispheres; spherical aberration in the miniature hemispheres guarantees that there is no tight focusing effect in the softening
