Product description Fotodiox Expands LED Lighting Lineup Read More With its soft quality of light, CRI of ≥95, AC or battery power options, and full function control, the C-818ASV Studio Pro Flapjack Bi-Color LED Edge Light from FotodioX is a valuable tool in the studio or on set for a variety of specialized uses. FotodioX uses LEDs that are situated around the edge of the panel and bounced inward then through the panel's surface. The lack of direct light results is very soft output without hotspots. The Flapjack's color temperature is variable from 3200-5600K or anywhere in between for matching other lights, ambient lighting or just for creative color. Brightness is variable too, from 10-100%, avoiding the need to use scrims or move the light back and forth for the right illumination Both color and brightness can be controlled locally on the unit or remotely via onboard DMX.Great for all-around use, the light has built-in barndoors to control the beam angle and at 1/2" thick and running barely warm to the touch, the light can be squeezed into tight spaces where traditionally-shaped lights just can't go.The Flapjack has a 110-240 VAC power supply for worldwide use, but it also has a V-Mount battery plate for optional 14.8 V batteries when mains current is unavailable. A fitted custom carrying case with shoulder strap is included for storage and transport.
