Product description Use this Vizelex ND Throttle Lens to Camera Adapter from Fotodiox to mount your Canon EF lens on a Canon EOS R camera body, and control of the amount of light passing through the lens onto the sensor using the built-in variable ND filter. The 1 to 8 stop variable ND filter makes this adapter especially suited for shooting video since, by limiting the amount of light that can reach the sensor, you can use slower shutter speeds and maintain desirable shutter angles and create pleasing motion blur. The knurled adjustment ring is ergonomically designed and allows easy manipulation using a fingertip. This is useful for adapting, on the fly, to quickly changing lighting conditions like you might encounter when shooting outdoors or when moving from inside to outside in a single video take—all without changing your camera's exposure settings. The precision all-metal construction features chrome-plated brass mounts and creates a confidence-inspiring and secure connection with no gaps, play, or wiggling. This is a manual adapter, and so, lens functions that rely on electronic communication between the lens and the camera body such as autofocus, auto exposure, and image stabilization will not function while using this adapter.
