User manual for the FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit contain basic instructions
that need to be followed during installation and operation.
Before starting your appliance, the user manual should be read through carefully.
Follow all the safety instructions and warnings, and be guided by the given recommendations.
User manual is an integral part of any FotodioX product,
and if it is sold or transferred, they should be handed over jointly with the product.
Following the instructions for use is an essential prerequisite for protecting
health and property during use, as well as recognition of liability on the part of the manufacturer

Product description This WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit Kit from FotodioX includes a WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit designed to specifically fit the Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens, as well as a WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket. Those items can be combined to allow for the convenient use of two 2.0mm thick filters measuring 7.9" wide, or one 2.0mm thick filter measuring 7.9" wide along with one FotodioX 186mm round filter behind it. A compatible 186mm solid neutral-density 1.5 filter and a 7.9 x 10.2" soft-edge graduated ND 0.9 filter are also provided, plus a 186mm inner-pinch lens cap for 186mm FotodioX round filters.
The included WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit consists of two components, a front filter holder and a rear lens collar. Placement of this FreeArc XL Core Unit onto a Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens is easily accomplished by sliding the rear lens collar over the rear of the lens until it has achieved a secure fit. Afterwards, the front filter holder can be screwed onto the front of the installed rear lens collar.
To use the WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket with the FreeArc XL Core Unit for a Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens, pre-tapped threaded inserts along the edge of the front filter holder accommodate six of the eight included brass short-screws for correct positioning of the WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket's two assembly pieces so that they are placed parallel to each other and can hold a 7.9" wide filter between them. Once the holder bracket and the front filter holder are combined, and the separate collar has been slid over the rear of a Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens, the front filter holder with the attached holder bracket can be screwed onto the installed rear lens collar.
After being fitted onto a Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens, the bearing design of this WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit allows a WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket to be rotated 360°. This permits the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning.
The FotodioX WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket provides two pairs of filter slots, a configuration that accommodates two compatible rectangular filters. For each rectangular filter that is placed within one of the holder bracket's slots, its position is secured by integrated guides within each slot. These guides apply pressure along both sides of a filter that is sufficient to hold it in place, but permits movement of that filter. This can complement the use of graduated filters whose effect can be adjusted to better suit changing lighting conditions or creative demands by sliding them up or down within a filter slot.
This FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit includes front filter threads, which allow a FotodioX 186mm round filter to be used along with a WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket. If a 186mm round filter is used on the attached WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit, the rectangular filter slot closest to the rear of the holder bracket becomes unavailable. The WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket features a durable and lightweight aluminum-alloy construction that has a corrosion-resistant, black anodized finish.
The FotodioX 186mm Slim, Solid Neutral Density 1.5 Filter is an ND filter with a 32x filter factor that provides a 5-stop exposure reduction and is compatible with FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL filter holder systems. Its 1.5 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity and features a lightweight, slim, aluminum-alloy filter ring to minimize the potential for vignetting.
The FotodioX 7.9 x 10.2" Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter is a filter designed for use with the WonderPana 80 and FreeArc XL filter holder systems. It helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a soft-edged line of transition is particularly useful for images that do not have a strongly defined transition between the sky and the foreground. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and this filter provides up to a 3-stop reduction in light from entering a lens.
This filter is made of durable, optical resin (CR39) and measures 2mm thick.
The FotodioX 186mm Center-Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap for Select WonderPana Systems and Filters is a 186mm front lens cap with a squeeze, spring, and snap-on mechanism. It is easy to install as well as remove, and can attach to a WonderPana FreeArc XL filter holder system in order to protect the front element of a lens that any one of those systems is mounted on. Additionally, with the exception of the FotodioX Ultra Slim filters, this lens cap can be used to protect a FotodioX 186mm filter that is mounted on a FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL filter holder system.
Lens caps protect your lens or filter from scratches, fingerprints, and the elements when the lens or filter is not in use. - WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket The FotodioX WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket is a two-piece assembly designed to be used in combination with a FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring. Attaching the WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket to a WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring can allow for the convenient use of two 2.0mm-thick filters measuring 7.9" wide, or one 2.0mm-thick filter measuring 7.9" wide along with one FotodioX 186mm round filter behind it.
Use of this holder bracket is easily accomplished by separately attaching its two assembly pieces to opposite sides of a WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring using six of the eight included brass short-screws. Pre-tapped threaded inserts along the edge of a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring accommodate those screws and ensure correct positioning of the two assembly pieces so that they are positioned parallel to each other and can hold a 7.9"-wide filter between them. The combined WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring, and WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket can then be attached to a compatible lens.
