Product description The WonderPana Go Standard Kit for GoPro HERO3+ Housing from FotodioX includes the WonderPana Go adapter specifically for the HERO3+ "slimline" housings, three filters, a case, and a screwdriver to secure the adapter in place. WonderPana Go is filter system designed with miniaturized needs of the GoPro HERO in mind. The adapter uses an all-aluminum frame that is held in place with a set screw, all without compromising the waterproof integrity of your housing. Once installed, the adapter does not interfere with normal function of the camera or the case. The three filters featured in the kit are ND8, CPL, and UV. In addition, other WonderPana GO filters, including dive filters, can be used and are available separately.
This version of the WonderPana Go system is designed expressly for the original GoPro HERO3+ camera housing. The older, "chunkier" housing included with the HERO3 is not compatible with this filter mount. The cases for the HERO3 and HERO3+ cameras are interchangeable, so to use this WonderPana Go with the HERO3 camera, simply attach the filter mount to a newer "slimline" HERO3+ waterproof housing, or skeleton housing. Included Filters - UV (Ultra-Violet)
- The UV filter acts to cut UV light which, while not visible in the picture, can have the side effect of reducing contrast. UV is also commonly used as a "protective filter", adding an extra barrier in front of your GoPro's lens. The filter is visibly clear and does not alter color or brightness to any significant degree
- CPL (Circular Polarizer)
- The CPL helps reduce unwanted reflects and specular highlights on glossy or reflective surfaces such as glass or water. It also helps enhance bright, outdoor scenes in particular by increasing contrast in the sky, making the clouds stand out more. Because polarization depends on the angle light strikes the filter, the filter rotates to achieve the desired effect
- ND8 (3-Stop Neutral Density)
- The ND8 cuts light entering the camera by approximately 3-stops. Reducing exposure levels in this way allows you to use slow shutter speeds for more natural motion blur
