Product description Protect your gimbal and camera with the Gimbal Guard and Lens Cover for DJI Phantom 4 Pro/Pro+ from Freewell. The Gimbal Guard is designed to attach to your Phantom's landing gear in between the landing struts. When used by itself, it protects the gimbal and camera from damage when landing on uneven terrain.
Imagine a scenario where an exposed rock sticks out high enough to strike the gimbal while landing before the landing struts can make contact with the ground. If you had the Gimbal Guard, the guard would strike the rock first, preventing you from accidentally damaging your gimbal and camera.
The Lens Cover is a simple plastic cap that fits over your gimbal camera's lens, protecting it from accidental damage. It can also hook into the Gimbal Guard to keep both the gimbal stationary and the lens protected, helping to avoid damage to either when moving the drone around.
The Lens Cover is also designed to work with lenses that have Freewell filters attached. To help save your precious battery life, a keychain for your flight key is included. This is meant to provide a simple reminder for you to check that the Lens Cover is removed before takeoff.
