Product description The FL-500P-6-FRK Fire-Resistant Transformable Floor Box System from FSR includes the FL-FRK-500P Floor Box and FL-FRK-500P FireStop Box Assembly Kit. The FL-500P-6-FRK Floor Box is UL listed and complies with UL 263 fire resistant rating and UL 514 scrub water protection requirements. It offers ample room to accommodate power, audio, video, telecommunications, and data cables. The FL-FRK Floor Box is affixed to the decking (available separately) by means of welding, or TEK screws. It is approved for installation using either light or normal weight concrete. The floor box height position can be adjusted accordingly to bring the floor box to the proper level before the pour. When the pour box cavity is filled, the concrete thickness around the floor box meets or exceeds the UL fire-resistant ratings of the floor. The floor box includes all the necessary internal plates and brackets to make pre and post concrete pour compartment changes quick and easy. The floor box features a rugged construction and is designed for use in carpet, tile or wood covered floors over poured concrete applications. It is suitable for ballroom conventions, and high-traffic areas. The FL-FRK-500P FireStop Box Assembly Kit includes four FL-FRK 1.5" Intumescent-Lined Conduit Assemblies, hardware, leveling feet, and 11-gauge steel temporary construction cover that protects the floor box interior during installation. The FL-500P-6-FRK Floor Box System allows implementing both high and low voltage gang configurations along with compartment isolation on the fly. This makes virtually any cabling/connector scenario possible. - Complete kit including floor box, pour pan, internal plates, brackets, and heat isolating conduits
- Includes a 11-gauge steel temporary construction cover

- Removable center divider for passing cables through compartments
- Undivided capacity of up to 8-gang
- If divided any combination that totals 3 to 4 gangs per side in the box is permissible
