Product description The 3", white Flat Panel Display Wall Box with Decora & Duplex Cover Plates from FSR is an installation accessory for housing wall-mounted plasma/flat-panel displays. It installs easily, allowing your screen to be flush with the wall. It is specifically designed to install in 2" x 3" stud walls and is suitable for use at schools, airports, conference centers, arenas, museums, and general meeting facilities.
This Flat Panel Display Wall Box provides a neat and secure environment for audio, video, control, and power wiring connections; for a clean finish, the connectors are hidden behind a cover. The unit comes ready to install, and has three single gang knockouts and one IPS knockout to mount up to six single IPS plates (sold separately). A removable pass-through enclosure provides an additional single gang knockout and can be used to isolate cables that the installer may need to pass through the backbox. One steel duplex cover plate and one steel Decora cover plate are included for convenience, and to ensure proper fit in the shallow back box. - For shallow (3" stud) walls
- Rugged 16-gauge steel back box with 1/16" front cover
- Three single knockouts and one IPS knockout to mount up to six single IPS plates (sold separately)
- Removable pass-through enclosure for isolating cables that need to go through the back box via the single-gang knockout
- Connectors are hidden behind an attractive cover
