Product description The RN-8200NF Room Navigator System Switcher & Controller (without front panel) from FSR is a multi-video format A/V switcher and control system. This solution is ideal for use in classrooms, boardrooms, conference rooms, and multimedia environments, among many other potential uses.
This unit in reality contains several switching units in one box. It has (3) video switchers: a 4x1 RGBHV switch, an 8x1 Composite video switch, and an 8x1 S-Video switch. Inputs 1 through 4 can be Composite Video, S-Video, or Computer video. Inputs 5 through 8 can be used simultaneously for Composite Video and S-video. There is also an 8x1 stereo audio switcher that supports balanced or unbalanced audio. The (8) audio inputs can be assigned to any of the (12) video inputs.
This unit also features a configurable control system with (4) serial ports, (4) IR ports with a learner, and (4) dry contact closures. These control points can be used to manage sources, such as DVD players, VCRs, set-top boxes, projectors, or any other appropriate display device. This unit can be further customized and enhanced with a variety of add-on accessories, such as a scaler, computer interface, remote-control wall plates, and recessed wall mounting brackets. Note: This unit is identical to the RN-8200 with the exception of the front panel. This unit does not feature a front panel. - Multiple Use A/V Switcher & Controller
