Product description The T2-DTXW-WHT IR/Data Transmitter with White Wall Plate forms part of FSR's Twister 2 Cat-5 data transmission system. Combined with an optional T2-DRX receiver, this transmitter allows for long-distance transmission of RS-232 data and/or IR control data using affordable, easily available Cat-5/5E/6 cable. This means not only cost savings but ease of installation versus bulkier, traditional data cables.
Using up to 1000 feet of Cat-5 type cable, the T2-DTXW-WHT transmits data and control instructions via its RJ-45 connector, allowing remote control of a projector or other RS-232 controlled device. This makes the transmitter ideal for control rooms, classrooms, houses of worship, boardrooms and other applications needing error-free data transmission with no electrical interference. Note: This is only one component in a larger system. In order for this unit to work properly it must be paired with a receiver. - 9-pin DSub female connector for input
- CAT-5 connections are via RJ-45 connectors (EIA/TIA-568B)
