It has multi-coated lenses, a tough polycarbonate exterior, and a weight that is remarkably low for a 7x50 water and fogproof optic. In fact, this rubber-armored unit will actually float in water when the included strap is attached. The compass' LED illumination and activation button are on the left objective, away from the compass itself, so that electrical interference is avoided. - Fujinon's entry-level boating binocular
