Product description BFD Horsepower from FXpansion is a drum-sample expansion pack for the company's BFD3 acoustic drum software, and features a Gretsch USA Custom kit with three toms. The authentic, mix-ready Americana-style drum sounds are perfect for a wide range of genres, from blues and alt-country, to garage rock and folk. The kit, Sabian hats, and Zildjian cymbals were recorded with a perfect balance between vintage dirt and modern punch, including a high level of detail for maximum playability when using electronic drums.
The stick and brush kits are presented in two distinct processing styles alongside an unprocessed version, resulting in a total of six kits. The personality of the sounds derives from the drum treatment, microphones, and processing. Ribbon-microphone room ambience is accompanied by several "character" channels, including saturated vintage tones, custom plate processing, and a unique trash can microphone for lo-fi dirt. Snares were damped with paper and tea towels, with the rest of the kit left untreated and tuned to the room for an open and vibrant sound that effortlessly slots into mixes. Table of Contents
