Product description BFD JEX from FXpansion is a drum sample expansion pack for the company's BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2 acoustic drum software, featuring a custom hand-made kit from XDrum's Xotica line. The drums utilize 6-ply Keller Maple shells with an additional ply of Sapeli Pommele running vertically, which helps to focus the low end. A hand-applied tung oil finish offers an open tone.
The kick features a Yamaha SubKick microphone for delivering an extreme low end. The package also includes a bonus Ludwig SuperSensitive snare taken from the BFD Jazz & Funk Collection. The drums were sampled in the same room and studio conditions as the BFD Jazz & Funk and BFD Percussion expansions, as well as those used for the Mapleworks kits in BFD3. Table of Contents
