Product description Metal Snares from FXpansion is a drum sample expansion pack featuring a collection of premium metal-shell snare drums for the company's BFD3 acoustic drum software. Metal snares deliver a brighter, louder sound, with increased overtones, and the five choices feature different materials, shell thickness, depth, and diameter. The snares were captured with wires on and off, and delivered in natural and processed versions.
Each snare drum was recorded with two top microphones, a single bottom and single side microphone, along with mono room, ribbon room, and far room ambience channels. Two stereo reverb channels are provided to achieve a big sound. From brass to bronze, steel to aluminum, the metal drums offer sounds that easily punch through a mix. Table of Contents
