Product description Available for download, Classic Hip Hop from FXpansion is an expansion pack intended for use with Geist and Geist2—though it can be used with any sample engine supporting 24-bit/44.1 kHz WAV, AIFF, and RX2 files. Sporting over 1,300 WAV samples, this library offers "boom-boom-bap" timbres for any applicable situation, giving you the sound of classic hip hop with samples of live musicians, vintage synths, and old-school drum machines. For added authenticity, all samples have been recorded to tape, processed through prototypical 12-bit samplers, or conversely, pressed onto dubplates and resampled therefrom. As such, this sample pack is well suited to anyone looking to capture or evoke the golden age of hip hop in their productions.
If you are using these samples within Geist or Geist2, you'll be able to make use of 11 kit presets, eight engine presets, five full song presets, and four pattern banks. If you're using this sample-pack with other apposite engines, you'll be able to utilize the aforementioned 1,300 WAV samples, as well as over 275 RX2 loops worth of breakbeats and instrument tracks.
