Product description The G-Technology G-DRIVE Pro and Thunderbolt" 3 Read More Edit multi-stream 8K footage at its full frame rate, quickly render VR projects and experience them at full resolution, and transfer data at speeds up to 2800 MB/s with the 3.84TB G-DRIVE Pro Thunderbolt 3 External SSD from G-Technology. The G-DRIVE Pro is equipped with dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which is used to attach to your host system, while the other is used for the daisy chaining of up to five additional Thunderbolt-compatible devices, including drives, 4K displays, and more.
This enterprise-class SSD features an endurance rating of one drive write per day (DW/D), which helps to ensure a long operational life and furthermore, it's aluminum enclosure is sturdy and stackable, which helps to not only protect this SSD, but also keep your workspace tidy. While it comes preformatted for macOS 10.13 and later, it may be used with Windows 10 via a simple reformat. Power is provided using an included AC adapter and power cord. HFS+ Driver for Windows by Paragon Install
By installing the HFS+ driver for Windows by Paragon on their Windows 10, 8.1 or 7 system, customers will be able to read/write to their G-Technology HFS+ formatted drive(s) from such PC, in addition to their Mac computer.
G-Technology Format Wizard
By installing the G-Technology Format Wizard, users can reformat their G-Technology HFS+ formatted drive to NTFS to be used with Windows-only systems. Please be aware that reformatting the drive to NTFS will erase all current data on the drive and it will no longer be compatible with macOS. Please be sure to back up all data prior to performing this install.
