Product description

Designed for field-use tasks such as backing up, editing, file transfers, and storage, and compatible with the G-DRIVE Evolution series, the ev USB 3.0 Rugged All-Terrain Case from G-Technology will help protect your G-DRIVE ev, G-DRIVE ev SSD, and G-DRIVE ev RaW from water, pressure, shock, and dust. This case will float in water and should it become submerged, it will protect your drive in depths of up to 1.0' / 0.3m for up to 30 seconds. Additionally, this case is able to protect the G-DRIVE ev RaW from drops up to 6.6' / 2.0m on a carpeted concrete floor.

The ev USB 3.0 Rugged All-Terrain Case includes a tethered USB 3.0 cable which can help users achieve data transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s. The USB 3.0 cable is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0, which provides data transfer speeds up to 480 Mb/s. While this case does not include a drive, it does has a USB 3.0 interface which allows it to interface with the G-DRIVE ev, G-DRIVE ev SSD, or G-DRIVE ev RaW that is placed inside it.
