Product description The AS-1800-4 Personal Wireless Monitor Band Pack System from Galaxy Audio includes 4 bodypack receivers (AS-1800R), 4 sets of ear buds, and 1 transmitter (AS-1800T). It is designed to get the whole band wireless in one package. The AS-1800-4 allows a band to send 1 stereo mix to 4 individuals.
With 150mW's of headphone output, the AS-1800R bodypack receiver is loud enough for any environment. The receiver has a squelch adjustment, stereo/mono switch, diversity antennas, LCD display that shows the channel number, frequency and battery status, button lock, and a magnesium alloy construction. The Mixed Mono Mode allows performers to adjust the balance of the left and right audio signals sent from the transmitter directly on the body pack. The performers can have their vocals in input 1 and the band mix in input 2 and adjust the volume of each independently to create their own personal mix. Alternatively, 2 different monitor mixes can be sent from the board so that each performer can decide which mix they want to hear on their belt pack.
The AS-1800T transmitter allows the user to select from 640 frequencies or 32 channels and has XLR/1/4" combination inputs, 2 to 1/4" line outputs, and selectable 30 or 100 mW transmitter output. The transmitter can be programmed with the name of the user which makes it easy to identify which performer is using which transmitter. It also allows the user to change between name, frequency, or channel on the display. There is a sensitivity selector for the transmitter input, which will allow either the mic or line level to be accepted into the transmitter.
